Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced Installations Engineer/ for our client based in Wellingborough, Northants.

A family run business, established in 1886, they offer a comprehensive design, manufacture and installation service covering all types of residential & commercial electric gate systems, specialist garage doors, roller shutters, canopies, glass rooms and access control solutions.

Title: Installations Engineer/Lead Installation Engineer
Salary: 18,000 - 22,000 per annum
Hours and location: Full time, 40 hours a week. You may be required to work overtime when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business. Annual leave is 20 paid days per year, plus public holidays. Work is based in Wellingborough.
Role: Working as team leader you will be directly responsible to your team to facilitate the installation, repair or maintenance of automation systems for gates and entry systems domestic and industrial, carry out inspections, service and maintain and complete any necessary paperwork as required.

Main Tasks of the job:
* Prepare ground and opening on site for electric entry system, working with electricity, cabling and remote control automation
* Remove existing products as required
* Be capable of lifting heavy products with adequate care
* To install gates, barriers, entry phone systems, garage doors, roller shutter doors and canopies to a high standard and leave area clean and tidy.
* Fill in paperwork as required.
* To maintain and repair above products when required.
* To assist in other departments as required.
* To work the required hours, remain punctual and presentable at all times.
* You need a full clean valid UK driving licence
* a valid passport, CSCS card, PASMA certificate and IPAF certificate would be an advantage

Essential -
* Installation experience: 3 years
* Automatic Entry Systems: 3 years

Required education/experience: Provide evidence of recent installations experience fitting FAAC, BFT, CAME or any other entry phone system.

Additional qualifications: Any automatic gate and entry system related certification, CSCS Skilled worker card
Required licence or certification: Full clean driving license
Relationship with: Installations Manager, Director, Head of Operations, other Installation Engineers,
Warehouse staff, Spares Department, Sales Staff, Surveyors, Sales administrator, Receptionists
