Driver Quest was launched in 2007 as a direct result of companies asking for a quality supplier of professional drivers. All individuals within the company are purposely attracted from either the transport industry or driver recruitment or both. Checking of drivers ID and history	At registration, we take copies of passports, birth certificates and request drivers complete at least 2 years employment history
Checking of licences	All licences are checked with DVLA, copied and signed and re-checked every 6 months by the same procedure
Testing of competence and knowledge of drivers hours, vehicle checks and RTD	Drivers undertake an assessment of Hours and Tachograph plus RTD which is marked and reviewed with the Consultant and training given where necessary. In addition, all drivers are in receipt of a Welcome Handbook which includes full detail of correct vehicle check procedures
Up to date information to drivers on changing legislation	The Welcome Handbook contains full information about legislation and is designed in such a way that any amendments or updates can be easily inserted
Return of tachograph charts	Our drivers are reminded weekly which charts are due, they are logged and tracked on our in-house system and returned to our clients within 42 days either by hand or recorded delivery
Retrieval of digital data if required	We have our own downloading equipment within each office
Compliance with RTD	We have an in-house system that tracks and records a drivers compliance with RTD detailing driving hours, other work, breaks and POA
Health & Safety on sites	By speaking with our clients, we gain information about any health and safety risks, either on their site or their customers. This is fully documented and full details given to drivers prior to assignment
