Assisitant Buyer

Location: Peterborough   Salary: £8.30ph
Responsibilities

• Requisitions (PRs)/Purchase Orders (POs)
o Raising PRs from information supplied by business owners & quotations
o Printing/Faxing/filing POs
o Log all POs in Excel to ensure best possible delivery times and receipting of goods/services received
o Managing non shipping supplies open POs ensuring that none are older than 6 months


• Vendor Applications
o Liaising with business owners, Accounting and Legal to organise new vendors to be set up in Oracle


• Investigating Invoice Queries
o Point of contact for all suppliers and liaising with Accounts to expedite all invoicing queries


• Collating/Verifying delivery notes
o Reconciling delivery notes to invoices in particular the monthly estimated POs for warehouse supplies


• Shipping Supplies
o Updating suppliers with order requirements
o Updating forecast module with usages
o Liaising with stores to ensure that the cycle counts are correct and timely


• Quotations
o Working with business owners to supply 3 quotations as per the spend and approval policy


• Kaizens
o Looking at ways to improve current processes/procedures within the FC
o Introducing new suppliers to the business for either cheaper costing or better quality


• Other Responsibilities
o Keep all filing up to date
o Open all department post and distribute

• Previous/Recent experience in Excel MS Office applications in particular Excel and Outlook

Weekend Warehouse Operative

Location: Peterborough   Salary: £6.30ph
We are looking for candidates to fill our positions as warehouse operatives in the Peterborough area.

Duties will include order picking, scanning, loading / unloading and packaging.
Candidates for these positions must have good reading, writing and speaking abilities.

The shift will be Saturday and Sunday 0700-1700, 2 days of 10 hour shifts.

All candidates applying for this weekend shift must be available to work through until Christmas and be available to work every weekend.

Oniste Supervisor

Location: Peterborough   Salary: £6.80 - £7.00ph
General
Act as the key interface with the customer for all contractual issues. Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the customer in order to meet Quest employment, as well as our clients business objectives.
Identify, manage and deliver improvement projects for both Quest Employment and our client.
Lead and manage the relationship with our client and be the focal point, to ensure that Quest Employment is fully responsive for the development of staffing levels. Champion the interests of the customer. Ensure that Quest Employment contract with our client grows year on year.
Ensure that Quest Employment comply with all relevant employment and Health and Safety legislation.
Responsible for the management of temporary staff attending our clients site, and liaising with managers at all levels on staffing.
Attends weekly meetings with client.
Monitoring staff performance, attendance and attrition levels.
Completing daily and weekly spreadsheets as well as weekly payroll.
Attend/manage staff testing on manual handling and health & safety.
Reduce testing failure, year on year.
Ensuring Clients expectations are met.
Production of post peak analysis reports and undertakes post peak reviews.
Control payroll and holiday for all temporary staff from branches

Inductions and orders.
Inform branches of orders and requirements and complete spreadsheet for names.
Meet new starters half an hour before induction to welcome and brief on induction process. Also, hand out contact details for all new starters.
Add all new starters to all spreadsheets. (payroll, pay and charge, attendance and fire register.)
Performance management
Attendance
Ensure all managers are informed of all sickness and no shows by email within the first half an hour of shift.
Send the daily report to the relevant managers onsite.
Complete all spreadsheets, complete return to work forms where necessary.
Holiday process


Feedbacks /Quality
Ensure that the relevant knowledge of errors and how to coach workers to correct their behaviour has been gained.
Print off all feedbacks and complete where able. Add feedback to performance console for appropriate feedbacks.
Ensure critical errors are attended to straightaway and feedback is logged on performance console.
Clear all feedbacks for each day (unless the individual is on holiday or absent)
Look for those workers with high error counts on a rolling 90 day.
Follow the sites “go, no go” process.
Productivity
Ensure understanding of MAPS and targets.
Check systems for productivity of staff, in the morning from the previous day and later for the same day.
Encourage poorer performers and praise higher performers. Add feedback comments to performance console where applicable.
Ensure the top offenders have been highlighted.
Payroll
Complete hours spreadsheet and pay and charge
Safety
Ensure workers are obeying health and safety procedures onsite and in the car park.
Complete FSI’s above the weekly target.
Ensure fire registers are accurate and in place as a priority each day.
Ensure that knowledge of the fire evacuation plan is in place and all reps and workers know the plan and where to meet.

Monitor break times when possible.

Outbound Team Leaders

Location: Peterborough   Salary: £15,000 - £22,000 per annum, negotiable
A position has arisen for two Leads. You should have the drive to motivate a team of individuals to meet targets and productivity expectations in line with company goals. You should be prepared to take responsibility for tracking the attendance and work flow of that team and work along side the Area Manager to highlight and rectify issues as they arise

Responsibilities

• Help support daily management of department duties
• Assign work to staff members as required/needed to support workflow and daily production goals
• Assist the AM with taking the daily team brief
• Assist the floor as a staff resource, training new staff members
• Assist the AM with tracking, trending and reporting of departmental metrics by staff members (intent is the sharing of information)
• Tracking, reporting, maintenance of hours and schedules
• Assist the AM with reviewing and updating SOP as required
• Follow up and solve process-related area issues as required
• Improve flow of product through the area
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area
• Coach staff members to work safely at all times
• Enthusiastically participate in safety initiatives
Fully understand workflow, daily production goals, and number of associates present each day. Be accountable for knowing their location at all times.


Skills / Experience / Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) – Can do attitude.

Warehouse Operative

Location: Peterborough   Salary: £6.30 - £7.25 per hour
We are looking for candidates to fill our positions as warehouse operatives in the Peterborough area.
Duties will include order picking, scanning, loading / unloading and packaging.
Candidates for these positions must have good reading, writing and speaking abilities.
There will be a shift premium and overtime after 40 hours. When you are allocated to your shift you will stay on that shift for the duration.
