Chef – Residential Care Home
Stocksbridge, Sheffield (S36)

Salary: £26,208 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a welcoming residential care home in Stocksbridge, Sheffield (S36).

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys creating fresh, nutritious meals and understands the important role food plays in the wellbeing of residents.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking high-quality meals for residents
Catering for a variety of dietary and nutritional requirements
Ensuring meals are presented to a high standard
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Assisting with stock control and food ordering
Completing food safety and compliance documentation
Working closely with the care team to support residents' needs
Ensuring all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures are followed

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook within a care home
Good understanding of dietary requirements for elderly residents
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen compliance
Ability to work independently and manage a busy service
Reliable, organised and professional approach
