Catering Assistant – Retail Restaurant Environment – Canvey Island (SS8 9QS)

We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join a busy restaurant within a retail environment based in Canvey Island, SS8 9QS.

The Role:

You will be supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team in a fast-paced catering environment, helping to maintain high standards of food preparation, cleanliness, and customer service.

Duties include:

Assisting with basic food prep
Keeping kitchen and service areas clean and organised
Pot wash and general kitchen duties
Supporting with food service during busy periods
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

Requirements:

Previous kitchen or catering experience is required
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Reliable and hard-working attitude
