Job Title: Packing / Customer Service Assistant
Location: Banbury
Pay Rate:£12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
(Flexibility required as hours may vary depending on workload)Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Packing / Customer Service Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced team. This is a varied role combining hands-on packing duties with customer service responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both practical work and interacting with people.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately packing products in line with company standards

  • Preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation

  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure items meet required standards

  • Assisting with stock handling and general warehouse duties

  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional manner

  • Providing updates on orders, deliveries, and product information

  • Resolving basic customer queries and escalating where necessary

  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or customer service role

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Flexible approach to working hours

Desirable:

  • Experience in a combined warehouse and customer service role

  • Familiarity with order processing systems
