Production Engineer

Salary: Up to £40 000.00 p/a

Hours: Monday – Friday – 08h00 – 17h00

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be multiskilled in both electrical and mechanical fields and
will be reporting into the Engineering Manager and work closely with the Production
Management team to ensure KPI targets are achieved, and all SLA standards are
maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read, interpret, and understand electrical schematics, diagnose and repair
faults along with performing minor/major mechanical repairs, predictive and
preventative maintenance of equipment is essential to the position.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce
waste, and improve product quality.
• Ensure all production comply with safety regulations and quality standards. • Identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production processes, including
procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
• Relevant mechanical, and or, electrical.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years working experience.
• Previous experience within the printing or direct mail industry or allied trades
such as print finishing or packaging.
• Experienced in wrapping and mailing lines.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to read both electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Electrical troubleshooting.

• Minor/major electrical and mechanical problems.
