Quality Control Supervisor

​Location: East Midlands Gateway
Shift:Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 12:00am
Salary:£17.50 + £3.01 unsociable hours premium (between 10pm-12am)

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Supervisorsto join our operation at the East Midlands Gateway site.

This is a hands-on supervisory role focused on ensuring all outbound loads are checked thoroughly and dispatched correctly, with minimal risk of damage or loading errors.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the quality control operation during shift

• Ensure all loads are checked and loaded correctly before dispatch

• Minimise risk to goods through effective inspection and process control

• Take ownership of load quality and compliance standards

• Confidently challenge and stop loads from leaving site if standards are not met

• Manage, direct, and support the operational team to maintain high performance

• Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively

Candidate Requirements

• Previous quality control or warehouse supervisory experience preferred

• Amazon experience is advantageous but not essential

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Confident decision-maker with the ability to push back when necessary

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment

• Must be proactive, detail-focused, and team-oriented
