Location: Near Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7, variable shifts)

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join a dynamic, high-profile kitchen team based at a prestigious historic estate near Hemel Hempstead.

Catering to a wide range of premium dining experiences—from high-volume banqueting to fine dining and outdoor events—the estate prides itself on utilizing local, seasonal, and sustainable produce. This role is ideal for a self-motivated chef with strong banqueting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce high-quality dishes according to established recipe requirements and specifications.

  • Maintain strict quality control on every dish regarding both execution and presentation.

  • Contribute creative ideas for seasonal menu development.

  • Ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness are consistently met.

  • Communicate effectively with the Front of House team to guarantee smooth service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven banqueting experience within a high-volume kitchen.

  • Solid track record of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and detail.

  • Must be a driver with full access to private transport (due to the remote venue location near Hemel Hempstead, public transport is limited/unavailable for shift patterns).
