Location: Near Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7, variable shifts)

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join a dynamic, high-profile kitchen team based at a prestigious historic estate near Hemel Hempstead.

Catering to a wide range of premium dining experiences—from high-volume banqueting to fine dining and outdoor events—the estate prides itself on utilizing local, seasonal, and sustainable produce. This role is ideal for a self-motivated chef with strong banqueting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and produce high-quality dishes according to established recipe requirements and specifications.
Maintain strict quality control on every dish regarding both execution and presentation.
Contribute creative ideas for seasonal menu development.
Ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness are consistently met.
Communicate effectively with the Front of House team to guarantee smooth service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

Proven banqueting experience within a high-volume kitchen.
Solid track record of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and detail.
Must be a driver with full access to private transport (due to the remote venue location near Hemel Hempstead, public transport is limited/unavailable for shift patterns).
