Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:15 | Friday 07:30 – 15:15

Quest Employment is currently recruiting for Skilled Cable Assemblers with soldering experience for a leading manufacturer based in Moulton Park, Northampton.

You will be working in a clean, organised production environment assembling high-quality electrical and data cables used across a range of industries.

The Role

As a Skilled Cable Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of electrical and data cables to precise specifications, with a strong focus on soldering and high-quality finishing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling power, data, and electrical cables to specification

• Soldering components and connections to a high standard

• Crimping, stripping, and terminating wires

• Using hand tools and semi-automated equipment

• Reading and following written and visual technical instructions

• Carrying out quality checks on completed work

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Working to production targets and deadlines

Key Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have proven experience in cable assembly and soldering

• Are confident working with small, detailed components

• Have strong attention to detail and high quality standards

• Are reliable, punctual, and motivated

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Are comfortable following technical instructions accurately

Previous experience in electronics, manufacturing, or production environments is highly desirable.
