Sous Chef (Temp-to-Perm) – Hatfield Heath (CM22)
We’re working with a well-established, independent hotel and events venue in the Hatfield Heath area who are looking to bring in a Sous Chef-level professional to join their close-knit kitchen team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable, hands-on chef who enjoys a mix of restaurant service and events, and wants to be part of a supportive, long-standing team.
The Role
Supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
Working across a mix of à la carte service, functions, and events
Helping maintain consistency, standards, and smooth service
Being a key part of a small, tight-knit brigade
What They’re Looking For
Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous/Senior CDP ready to step up
Experience in volume service and/or events/banqueting preferred
A team player with a positive attitude and good communication
Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy to get stuck in
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
Pay & Details
Hourly rate dependent on experience
Temp-to-perm opportunity (12 weeks)
Weekly hours to be discussed at interview
