Hours: Monday Friday 08:00-16:30
Salary: 10.25 per hour

An opportunity has arisen for a cleaner to join the team within one of the Uks largest food businesses based in Banbury.

Based at the feed mill site, the role of the cleaner is to ensure that the hygiene standards are met, along with supporting your team with other varied duties as and when required.
Although you will be working predominantly individually, your role is instrumental to your team and you will be fully supported whilst also providing support to your team.
The role is based within a mill, which the environment is quite dusty, as such Full PPE will be provided to you.

Key Responsibilities include:
General cleaning, including using a PPT (power pallet truck) and a MEWP (mobile elevating work platform) of which full training will be provided
Cleaning the machinery to a high standard and in line with the business requirements
Inspecting and maintaining cleaning equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly
Keeping the working areas clean and tidy
Reporting of any broken or damaged cleaning equipment to management
Carrying out of any minor maintenance duties such as painting when required
On occasion, as part of your team you will be required to support with day to day duties required to run the operation such as loading ingredients into the machines, or scanning into the system
The ingredients would be mainly wheat and soya and would involve some lifting, no heavier than 20kg
You will need to adhere to all Health and Safety procedures, including wearing correct PPE and following safety operating processes at all times

The role is varied, and a crucial part of the running of the operation. No experience is required, however a positive attitude, reliability and a hard working ethic are all required to join this proactive team.
