What You’ll Be Doing As a Laboratory Technician, you'll be hands-on across the full production process—from testing incoming materials to releasing finished products. Your work will help keep our products safe, our customers confident, and our operations running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include: Carrying out sampling and testing at every stage of production, following clear schedules and test methods. Monitoring plant processes, equipment hygiene and chemical strengths, keeping accurate records at all times. Producing Certificates of Analysis (COAs) on time and with complete accuracy. Calibrating and verifying lab equipment, reporting any issues promptly. Acting quickly on out-of-specification results by placing product on hold, retesting, and notifying the appropriate teams. Supporting NPD trials by collecting and analysing test data. Completing stock rotation of laboratory consumables and conducting stock counts. Carrying out hygiene, service provider, and fabrication audits across site. Managing proficiency testing results in the Quality Management System. Getting involved in lab improvement projects that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and service. Assisting with training and providing cover for colleagues when needed. Helping to support and occasionally deputise for the Laboratory Supervisor. Job Description: F3 - Pan - Production Operative (12 Hour Shifts) Overview We are seeking dedicated and diligent Production Operatives to join our team. As a Production Operative will be responsible for various tasks including coating, mixing, packing biscuit product, stacking pallets, and ensuring the quality of our products. Shift Patterns 24/7 - Panama Shift Pattern - 06:00am-18:00pm / 18:00pm-18:00am - 2 x days on - 2 x days off - 3 x days on - followed by 2 x days off - 2 x days on - 3 x days off. Competitive Pay Pre AWR - Monday - Sunday to first 34.5 / 46 hours £12.21 per hour, Over 40.25 hours through the 2 weekly average £18.32, additional £2.20 shift allowance on all hours when working agreed shift rotations, base rate starts at £14.41 including shift allowance. (shift allowance paid on core hours only).Pre 12 weeks 1 x 30 Minute break unpaid. Post AWR - Monday - Sunday to first 36 /48 hours £12.97 per hour, Over 42 hours through the 2 weekly average £19.46, additional £2.33 shift allowance on all hours when working agreed shift rotations, base rate starts at £15.30 including shift allowance. (shift allowance paid on core hours only).Post 12 weeks all breaks paid. You’ll play a key role in preparing fresh flowers for dispatch to customers across the UK. Shift Patterns Day Shift 08:00 - 16:45 Twilight Shift 17:00 - 01:45 Pay Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour for all hours worked.
