Job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Line Feeder to support our client's production line operations. The Line Feeder plays a critical role in ensuring continuous workflow by supplying materials, components, and parts to the production line in a timely and accurate manner. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver raw materials, components, or parts to the production line according to schedule

  • Maintain accurate inventory of materials at line-side workstations

  • Monitor supply levels and replenish materials as needed to prevent downtime

  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material flow

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines at all times

  • Identify and report material shortages or quality issues

  • Keep work areas clean and organized

  • Assist in packaging, labelling, or other light production tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 20kg and stand/walk for extended periods

  • Basic math and inventory tracking skills

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced production environment

  • May involve exposure to loud noise, machinery, and moving equipment

  • Must be able to be flexible with regards to working hours

Hourly Date:

£14 p/h paid weekly in arrears

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 06.30am - 3.30pm

Friday 6.30am - 12.30pm

Location of work: ST10 - Cheadle (Staffordshire)
