£12.21 per hour plus overtime

Shifts / Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00-16:30 / Friday 07:00-11:15 (40 hours weekly)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Factory Window Fabricator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating UPVC windows and doors, ensuring high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing UPVC windows and doors to precise specifications.
  • Operating machinery and hand tools to fabricate window frames and components.
  • Ensuring all products meet quality control standards and company specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and production schedules.
  • Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Conducting quality checks on completed products.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience in window and door fabrication (UPVC) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is desirable but not essential.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to window fabrication, including compressor hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
