Shifts / Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-3.45pm and Friday 7am-12.45pm

Job Description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in ST4. Our client is a leading manufacturer who are looking to expand their current team. As a Mechanical Fitter , you will play a crucial role in setting up machines and fixing breakdowns in a timely manner. 

Key Responsibilities:

• 75% of the role will involve setting up extruders and cutting machines. 
• 25% will involve maintenance and fixing machines when they breakdown. 
• Maintaining a clean and organized working environment. 
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Working collaboratively with other team members. 

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Mechanical role would be preferred. 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Any welding, lathe or milling experience would be helpful. 

Shifts: Monday-Friday

Hours: 7am - 3.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7am -12.45pm Friday

Pay: £13.62 per hour. Once trained pay will increase to £14.76 per hour.
