Requirements of a Crane Driver/360 grab operator

• Previous experience as crane driver

• 360 grab operator experience is essential

• Recycling centre experience desirable but not essential

Details for the Crane Driver/360 grab operatorrole:

• Salary: Depending on experience

• Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

• Location: Ampthill

• Duration: Temp to Perm

Role of a Crane Driver/360 grab operator:

• Conducting machine safety checks each day

• Crane loading /unloading

• Running shear or other machinery

• Depolluting cars in vehicle shed

• Setting up cranes and operating them

• Moving material around site according to a plan or schedule

• Monitoring crane stability and load weights

• Reporting any issues to the supervisor

• Keeping records of the materials you’ve moved

• Ensuring that travel routes are clear

• Working on-site, in noisy conditions.
