Resourcer / Recruitment Administrator

Quest Employment – Commercial Team

Let’s get this straight from the start:
This role is not about cold-calling strangers and chasing targets with a stopwatch.

It is about being organised, curious, people-focused and quietly brilliant behind the scenes — the person who keeps the recruitment wheels turning while I’m out meeting clients, interviewing candidates and building relationships.

If you love structure, lists, people, and seeing things come together properly, you might be my person.

What you’ll be doing (day to day)

No two days are the same, but here’s the honest version:

  • Sourcing candidates for commercial office roles using job boards, LinkedIn and CV databases

  • Speaking to candidates, booking interviews and keeping them informed throughout the process

  • Supporting with candidate registrations, compliance and right-to-work checks

  • Keeping our CRM accurate, up to date and organised

  • Supporting interview feedback, offers and onboarding paperwork

  • Being the calm, organised backbone of the desk

You won’t be thrown in at the deep end — you’ll be supported, trained and trusted.

If you enjoy the candidate side, there is real scope to develop into a candidate-focused or resourcing specialist role.
If you’re commercially minded, curious about clients and enjoy building relationships, there is also potential to develop into a recruitment consultant or sales-focused role over time.

What We're looking for

You don’t need recruitment experience (nice if you have it, not essential). What matters is that you:

  • Are organised and like things done properly

  • Are confident speaking to people by phone and email

  • Have strong attention to detail

  • Are proactive and willing to take ownership

  • Are comfortable using systems, Outlook, Word and databases

  • Care about people and doing a good job

If you enjoy ticking things off a list and making life easier for others, we’ll get on very well.
